Raffle drawing for new refrigerator; benefits fallen LCSO deputy’s family

Jason Reece with Reece’s Appliance Repair has donated a brand new Frigidaire side-by-side refrigerator. A raffle drawing is set to begin at 5 p.m. here on Guthrie News Page.

All proceeds from the raffle will go toward Jason Wright’s family. Wright suffered a heart attack while on duty with the Logan County Sheriff’s Office. He passed away on Oct. 23 at the age of 33.

Wright leaves behind a wife and four beautiful children.

“Just want to take this time and say thank you from the bottom of my heart for all the support we have had in this raffle,” Jason Reece said on Saturday. “We were able to raise 8,892.00 for the Wright family. God bless you all, I am so moved by all of your efforts!”
