As a business owner, when Meridian partners with you, our staff members have an opportunity to do what we do best – focus on you. Your organization. Your needs. Your expected outcomes.

Meridian’s Business and Industry Services division specializes in computer training, industrial and technical skills training, staff and management development, and safety training. Clients that we’ve partnered with tell us they’ve seen cost savings, greater efficiency, growth in employee skill level, increased productivity and increased sales as a result.

When Ray and Talleri Beck, owner of Beck’s Farm Equipment in Guthrie, needed assistance with their account management processes, we met with them at their business, talked to them about their current practices and developed a custom account management system through QuickBooks they were able to manage.

Meridian applied this tailored approach when partnering with Stillwater Medical Center to provide training to boost the skill sets of mid-level supervisors. Following the training, hospital leaders reported being better equipped to communicate the organization’s vision and expectations to front-line staff, ensuring a positive patient experience. Earlier this year, Stillwater Medical Center earned Healthgrades’ 2015 Outstanding Patient Experience Award, an honor that is based on surveys from patients. The hospital also was recently named a Best Hospital in Oklahoma for Patient Experience, and for the last three years the hospital has received the Top 100 Places to Work in Healthcare designation from Modern Healthcare. We’re proud that we have an opportunity to work with companies who are leaders in their industries.

Whether a company has two or 200 employees, our customized approach remains the same. Last fiscal year Meridian’s Business and Industry Services division served 298 businesses throughout the Meridian district, and had 10,687 enrollments in customized classes. Working with existing industries is one way we contribute to the economic growth of our communities.
