Two Guthrie High School freshmen have been elected officers with Family, Career and Community Leaders of America (FCCLA).
Haylea Allen and Lauren Waters participated in the FCCLA North IV District Officer Election on Thursday, according to Jessica Maker who teaches FCCLA at the high school.
After completing a knowledge test, prepared speech and interview, both members were elected to be a 2019-2020 Oklahoma FCCLA North IV District Officer.
They will travel across the district over the next year organizing and leading leadership conferences and competitive events within FCCLA.
