Amber Alert canceled for two boys taken by mother

Update 4:55 p.m. – The Amber Alert has been canceled. Both the boys and mother have been located in Fairview, Okla.

3:50 p.m. – The Logan County Sheriff’s Office has issued an Amber Alert for two young boys who were abducted by their mother and may be in danger.

Deputies said Dillon Nelson, 4, and Evan Nelson, 7, were taken by their mother, Jessica Evans, 28. They were last seen at 1:30 p.m. in the 13000 block of N.W. 1st Street in Oklahoma City by their grandmother.

Anyone who sees the vehicle or knows of the boys’ whereabouts should call 911.

Deputies said Evans has openly made threats to kill her children, saying she would drive into Lake Overholser before she let their father have visitation rights.

Evans was last seen driving a 2005 red Chrysler Pacifica. It has an Oklahoma license plate number of 703-GOQ.

Deputies said Evans was also treated recently for a drug overdose.
