Guthrie Public School’s and the district Parent Teacher Organization will be hosting a Back to School Bash on August 17 at Highland Park.
The bash will include free-swimming at the city pool. Pre-kindergarten thru second grade students can swim from 6 p.m. to 6:45 p.m. and third grade to sixth grade students can take a dip in the pool from 7 p.m. to 7:45 p.m.
It is required that a parent or guardian must accompany students.
August 17 also marks the first day of school for Guthrie students.
what other activities will there be? will we need to bring food, etc?
Meghan – it really has been a come and go type deal in the past. Children obviously play in the park, but the schools basically will have the pool.
