Updated on Sept. 25 — Body found on side of the road identified by OHP
Update — 10 a.m. — Broadway has been reopened to traffic.
A body was found along side a Logan County road Friday morning.
Emergency crews are on the scene near the intersection of Broadway and Charter Oak where a body was found lying in a ditch.
The call came in just before 7:30 a.m. The person was pronounced deceased by firefighters.
Vehicle traffic on Broadway is blocked in both directions at Charter Oak and Simmons.
The Oklahoma Highway Patrol has arrived to begin their investigation. The person may have been struck by an unknown object, according to radio traffic.
