Car brakes and swerves into tractor trailer on I-35

Motorists were lucky on Monday morning after a vehicle swerved into a semi-truck’s trailer on Interstate 35 and was dragged for several yards.

A semi-truck and white, four-door car were traveling northbound approximately 30 mph due to a previous crash and upcoming road construction. For an unknown reason at this time, the car braked and swerved into the trailer. The semi dragged the car until coming to a stop off the highway.

The accident occurred near mile marker 150 approximately three miles north of the south Guthrie exit.

The Oklahoma Highway Patrol was on the scene investigating.

There were no injuries reported at the scene.

The accident comes one day after a man and child were killed on the interstate in Edmond. Related storyI-35 crash kills two people including child; two locals avoid injury
