The Oklahoma Dept. of Wildlife Conservation Expo is this weekend at the Lazy E Arena. It’s Free for the whole family, with over 150 hands on activities. There will be archery, fishing, shooting, kayaks, bird watching, wild game samples, mountain bikes, ATV’s and more!
The folks at Exit Realty are having a Coat Drive from now until Oct. 16th. The House on Pine is closing and the owners, Bo and Krista Martin and their Associates, want to help people who need coats to be able to get coats. So if you have some coats that you don’t wear anymore drop them off at the Exit Realty office located in the downtown area at 105 E. Oklahoma.
The first weekend in October is going to be packed with people. The Oklahoma International Bluegrass Festival is the 4th, 5th and 6th. The Guthrie Escape, Art, Wine and Music Festival is Oct. 6th & 7th. The Pollard Theatre presents “ The 39 Steps” beginning Friday until the 27th of October. Mix a Hitchcock masterpiece with a juicy spy novel, add a dash of Monty Python and you have … Alfred Hitchcock’s The 39 Steps. A mind-blowing cast of four actors play over 150 characters in this fast-paced tale of an ordinary man on an extraordinarily entertaining adventure. Guthrie Haunts Scaregrounds begins Oct. 5th and goes every weekend from 7p.m. to midnight. The Scaregrounds are located at 4525 Riverside Circle out on Hwy 77.
