On June 11 at 6:30 p.m., the Guthrie Chamber of Commerce will host a forum for Logan County Commissioner candidates at Charter Oak Elementary School cafeteria, located at 4900 E. Charter Oak Road. The public is invited to attend and is requested to park behind the school and enter through the cafeteria.

Before the commissioner’s forum, Court Clerk candidates Cheryl Watts Smith and Jannis Crews DeLisa will address attendees to discuss their campaigns.

The forum is organized in anticipation of the upcoming primary election on June 18. The event will feature a question-and-answer session with the District 2 County Commissioner candidates: Floyd Coffman, Mike Fergason, and Charlie Meadows.

Moderation duties will be handled by Chamber President Brittany Timmons and Chris Evans from Guthrie News Page.

For those unable to attend in person, the event will be streamed live on Guthrie News Page and the Chamber’s Facebook page.

County residents are encouraged to submit their questions for the candidates by emailing info@guthriechamber.com or messaging the Chamber on social media.

This forum represents a valuable opportunity for the community to engage with their local candidates and make informed decisions in the upcoming election.
