Guthrie Public Schools announced on Monday morning, the meet the teacher for students and parents at Charter Oak Elementary School will be moving locations.
The districts says due to the ongoing construction at Charter Oak Elementary, meet the teacher for the school has been moved to Community Church (located at 512 E. Seward Rd.).
Teachers will be on hand for a meet and greet at the scheduled time of 3‐7 p.m. on Thursday, August 30.
Parents are asked to not to bring school supplies to this meeting.
Superintendent Dr. Mike Simpson said, “We want to thank our friends at Community Church for opening their doors for this event. We still believe the building will be finished in time for school to begin on September 4th.”
