Citizens Bank of Edmond hires Tori Jones as Marketing Assistant

EDMOND, Okla. — Citizens Bank of Edmond has hired Tori Jones to serve as the bank’s marketing assistant. The newly formed position will focus on implementing the bank’s marketing and communications strategy which includes assisting with media relations, enhancing Citizens’ growing social media presence and helping to run the popular downtown festival Heard on Hurd.

“I’m really excited to be able to use my skills to benefit the community at Citizens Bank of Edmond,” Jones said. “Since Citizens is a local hometown community bank, I’m eager to dive into the community to help raise awareness for everything local.”

Prior to joining Citizens Bank of Edmond, Jones served as Orange Leaf Frozen Yogurt’s brand development intern at their headquarters and online coordinator of Oklahoma Christian University’s Talon newspaper. Jones has also assisted in media relations at

Feed the Children and managed employees as team leader at the Oak Tree Country Club. As a Guthrie native, Jones has written articles and conducted interviews for the Guthrie News Page.

Jones holds a Bachelor of Science degree in mass communications/public relations from Oklahoma Christian University and was an active member of the local Public Relations Student Society of America.

“I’m truly excited to bring Tori on board at Citizens,” said Ann Chen, senior marketing officer. “Tori brings a wealth of experience that will further grow our marketing and communications efforts and I can’t wait to see what we can do with her as part of the team.”
