The City of Guthrie announced they will be shutting off water next week for a portion of their customers for maintenance.
On Monday (Dec. 11) at midnight, the City will be shutting down the water to install a new valve in a joint effort between the City of Guthrie and Rural Water District #2.
The water will be shut off at the Guthrie Water Treatment Plant, located at 1113 S. Division St., south to the 1400 block of S. Division for a period of approximately four hours.
City officials said the area will be totally without water.
Customers may experience low water pressure, but should remain in service. This is a joint effort between the City of Guthrie and Rural Water District #2.
