Guthrie Public Schools recognized their August Support and Certified Employees of the Month.
The Certified Employee of the Month was Vangie Goodard, a fifth grade math teacher at Guthrie Upper Elementary School. She was nominated by Kendra McNew, who is a fifth grade reading teacher.
The Support Employee of the Month is Bernadette Coleman, a secretary at Guthrie High School. She was nominated by Maggie Wade, Annie Chadd and Rebecca Chavez.
The Guthrie Lions Club presented a plaque to the recipients and Sonic at I-35 and Highway 33 donated a $25 Sonic gift card.
“Congratulations to Bernadette and Vangie for being selected as the August employees of the month,” Asst. Superintendent Doug Ogle said.
