Last week throughout the Guthrie school district, students parents, and businesses came together for Teacher Appreciation Week. At Guthrie Upper Elementary School it was a huge success with generous donations.
On Monday, teachers received popcorn and candy bars, Tuesday was served with sandwiches, Abuelos was catered on Wednesday, breakfast was delivered on Thursday with Sonic (I-35 and Highway 33) sponsoring drinks and finally on Friday John Vance Motors sponsored lunch from the “I Don’t Know and I Don’t Care” food truck.
