Council selects Clarice Reandeau for Ward 2 councilmember

A three person committee comprised of Guthrie city council members nominated Clarice Reandeau for the vacant Ward 2 seat for both city council and the Guthrie Public Works Authority. On Tuesday, the council made it official.

Guthrie City HallReandeau was one of six applicants and was interviewed by council members Sharyl Padgett, Jeff Taylor and John Wood. She was an unanimous selection to fill the elected position until the term expires in the end of May 2015.

A former Oklahoma Army National Guard Soldier and now homemaker, Reandeau says she is interested in a future career involving politics and wants to start at the local level where issues involve her community and family.
