Thursday was Students Working Against Tobacco (SWAT) recruitment and the first meeting at the Coyle Elementary School. The group recruited the 6th grade class.
During the first meeting Coyle SWAT agreed to have a booth at the Coyle Health Fair Thursday, February 15, 2012 from 10am to 2:00pm, at Coyle Schools. The SWAT youth will use the new SWAT campaign materials such as: message card and surveys. The media coverage and information gained from this activity will assist the young advocates in their efforts to promote the “In The Clear Campaign”.
Project S.T.U.N.! (Stop Tobacco Use Now) and the Logan County Coalition would like to thank our Coyle Adult Partners: Janet Bentley and Angie Burris, RN, for their support and time in fostering our SWAT youth in Coyle.
Everyone is invited to attend.
