The Logan County Sheriff’s Office is on the look out for a registered sex offender and are now asking for assistance in locating him.

Logan County Deputies are looking for this man, Josh Walton.

Deputies say Joshua Walton, 23, not follow through to establish a transient registration and has not returned to his registered address.

Walton, who was released from the county jail on Sept. 30, now has arrest warrants through the Logan County District Court for Violation of the Sex and Violent Offender Registration Act, and Failure to Register as Sex Offender.

Deputies say they have exhausted all leads in locating Walton.

As a result of this criminal action, the Department of Corrections has filed for a revocation of Walton’s previous 2011 suspended sentence for a previous conviction for Failure to Register as a Sex Offender. A separate felony arrest warrant has been issued through the Logan County District Court in this case.

Deputies describe Walton as a white male, six feet six inches tall, 207 pounds and has brown hair, hazel eyes and numerous tattoos.

He is believed to be in the Oklahoma City metro area, possibly the Edmond or south Oklahoma City areas and is in frequent contact with his brother and several female acquaintances.

Because of safety concerns, the Sheriff’s Office suggest that no one make contact with Walton, but to contact their office (405) 282-4100, or their local law enforcement, to report his possible location.
