Motorists can expect delays on S. Division St. after a mobile home that was being transported struck a utility line.

The accident happened just before 12:30 p.m. on Wednesday near the intersection of Harrison Ave. and Division Street.

Witnesses say the mobile home struck the low-lying line, while traveling south on Division St.

The impact also pulled the utility pole out of the ground and onto Division St.

The utility line belongs to Cox Commutations.

Division St. is blocked off at Harrison Ave., Springer St. and 1st Street.

There was no time frame given when the lines will be removed from the roadway.

  2. Where’s the pilot car? Someone should be escorting that trailer through town. Are they even on the route the permit laid out?
