For Duane “Dog” Chapman and Beth Chapman they could not wait until they caught their person in downtown Guthrie on Saturday afternoon so they can head back home after working for 16 straight days.
Both Chapmans, along with their son Leland and a film production crew, spent several hours in Guthrie trying to capture a criminal who forfeited on his bail bond with Bc Bail Bonds.
Story continues past the video interview with Dog Chapman, including the video of Dog and Beth escorting their man to the sheriff’s office.
The fugitive that they were searching for willingly turned himself in at the bail bond office where he was handcuffed and escorted to the Logan County Sheriff’s Office by the Chapmans and the video crew.
The entire process was filmed for the Chapman’s show “Dog and Beth: On the Hunt” which is set to premiere Sunday, April 14 (8 p.m.) on Country Music Television (CMT). The new show features Dog and Beth stepping out of their headquarters in Hawaii to unite with bail bondsmen from around the country as they hunt down some of America’s most dangerous criminals.
Bryce and Rebecca Culbert, with the bail bond company, were in the process of having their webpage design when their publisher took a job with the Chapmans and suggested that they come to Oklahoma.
“We are extremely blessed in that manner. They came in here and got things done just because who they are,” Bryce Culbert said from his office.
“They probably invested roughly four hours. We worked on other cases as well,” Culbert said.
Catch up with Dog and Beth before the new series premieres in “Dog and Beth: The Preview Special” premiering Sunday, April 14 at 7 p.m. Central.
