Donations being sought for annual Prom Dress Giveaway

Donations are being sought for the 6th annual Guthrie High School Prom Dress Giveaway, April 6 – 7.
New or gently worn dresses in the current fashion, as well as monetary donations are being accepted, according to Dana Curtin, one of the organizers of the event.

Approximately 300 dresses have been given to girls at Guthrie High School sine the events inception in 2011.

Curtin says in addition to the formal wear, girls are also able to pick from a variety of shoes, purses and jewelry.

Tiki Tan, Elise Friese and Brittney Martin have donated tanning packages, manicures and hair styling which will be drawn for during the event.

Each girl who visits the Giveaway, held at the GHS Little Theater will receive gifts donated by the organizers.
