Duehning, Lacina named Lions Club Students of the Month

Guthrie High School students Madison Duehning and Wesley Lacina were selected and honored by the Guthrie Lions Club for students of the month for December.

Madison, the daughter of Matt and Deanna Duehning, participates in concert choir, Victorian Singers, Mu Alpha Theta, Heritage Club, First United Presbyterian Church and a member of the National Honor Society.

She has been recognized for ECODA Regional Choir, Superintendent’s Honor Roll, Masonic Academic Achievement Award, choir council member and is on pace for school valedictorian.

Madison has been accepted to The University of Oklahoma and Oklahoma City University. She plans to study film and media.

Wesley, the son of Doug Lacina and L.J Blair, has specialized in concert choir, Victorian Singers, Mu Alpha Theta and student council.

He has achieved ECODA Regional Honor Choir, senior class president, Mu Alpha Theta Officer Safe Schools committee, National Honor Society (NHS), NHS council officer, choir council and is on track to become school valedictorian.

Wesley plans to attend Jacob’s University in Bremen, Germany and major in International Relatons; politics and history.
