It was an early morning for some Guthrie residents on Wednesday.
A 3.4 magnitude earthquake struck at approximately at 2:55 a.m. Its epicenter was located north of E. Charter Oak Rd and west of Post Road, according to the U.S. Geological Survey. The quake was near the Charter Oak Hills housing addition.
It was 5.6 miles deep.
No damages or injuries associated with the earthquake have been reported. Damage and injury are far more likely with quakes that register 4.0 and higher, the USGS reports.
