Family Dollar will be leaving Guthrie, but Dollar Tree will not be too far behind at the same location on S. Division Street.
Earlier this month, Dollar Tree announced they would convert about 200 Family Dollar stores to the Dollar Tree banner this year, including the Guthrie location.
The Chesapeake, Virginia-based Dollar Tree bought its rival Family Dollar for $9.2 billion in 2015.
The Guthrie location at 802 S. Division St. hung a ‘Dollar Tree Coming Soon’ banner above their front doors over the weekend.
