Fatality accident claims the life of a Crescent teen

An early morning vehicle accident on State Highway 33 has claimed the life of a Crescent teenager.

According to a Oklahoma Highway Patrol report, 19-year-old Emma Lorraine Valliquette was pronounced dead at Mercy Hospital Logan County with internal and external injuries.

Troopers say Valliquette was ejected 100 feet from her 2004 Ford Explorer just after 2 a.m.

The accident occurred in Kingfisher County one mile west of State Highway 74F on Highway 33 near Cashion.

Troopers did not report a cause of the accident in their initial report and says it remains under investigation.

OHP was assisted by Kingfisher County Sheriff’s Office, Cashion Police Department, Cashion Fire Department and Miller EMS.
