On Monday, students at Faver School spent the day celebrating America’s military. A lesson regarding Veterans Day always and forever being celebrated on November 11 regardless of the day off the week was followed by a collaborative art project.
Each student colored a piece of the poster, unaware of the outcome. Upon arriving for class on Tuesday, the students were amazed by the tribute they had unknowingly created.
As an extension of the Faver School patriotism initiative, each student also wrote a “Dear Solider” letter to be included in care packages sent to our troops.
