F&M Bank supports financial literacy

F&M Bank is committed to serving their local communities and giving back to Oklahoma teachers and schools. F&M Bank has partnered with EverFi to support local teachers and students by purchasing EverFi’s Financial Literacy Program for Guthrie schools.

EverFi’s program offers students interactive, digital courses to help them gain personal financial decision-making skills at no cost to the schools or taxpayers.

Students not only increase their knowledge of critical financial topics, but also become more confident in their ability to handle their financial futures.

Last year students put in over 827 hours of learning, satisfying many of the State of Oklahoma’s financial literacy objectives.

“We are proud to assist our community’s teachers and schools for the fifth year,” a spokesperson said for the bank.

F&M Bank was founded in 1902 as Farmers and Merchants Bank and has grown to eight locations in Oklahoma City, Edmond, Guthrie, Piedmont, Crescent, Kingfisher, and Yukon. With assets of over $450 million, F&M provides complete banking services for central Oklahoma. It also owns and operates F&M Bank Mortgage, which serves customers throughout the state with mortgage services.
