The Guthrie Fire Department has come to the rescue for many, but now they are asking citizen to help them with their supply of bottled water and Gatorade.
“We hate to ask, but our bottled water and Gatorade supply is pretty much exhausted due to the recent stretch of wildfires,” a social media post from Guthrie EMS read.
The last time the department made such a request was in 2012 during an above average fire season.
“All area departments are in need so if you don’t live in Guthrie and can, donate to your local department. We all GREATLY appreciate it”
You can drop off your donation at the fire station, which is located at 209 E. Springer.
