The Guthrie Public Library is honored to host local ghost expert, author, speaker, and University of Oklahoma professor Jeff Provine for a Halloween-inspired visit.  Jeff will be at Guthrie Public Library Tuesday, October 22 from 6:30 to 7:30 pm.

Guthrie LibraryProvine will share spooky and creepy tales from his newly-published book, Campus Ghosts of Norman, Oklahoma, a part of the Haunted America series from The History Press.

“Jeff is very knowledgeable about paranormal activity and is a talented storyteller.  We hosted him during our Summer Reading Program and his visit was our most highly attended adult program- everyone loved him.  We are absolutely thrilled to have him back,” Library Director Cyndi Selinger said.

Provine has traveled the world learning about and collecting stories of the supernatural.  He is the author of several books, is a Composition professor at OU, and founded the OU campus ghost tour.

The program is free and everyone is welcome. For more information, call 405-282-0050.
