GHS entrance spruced up by graduating class, donations

Thanks to the Guthrie High School graduating class of 2016 and a few sponsors, high school students will be rolling into school with an upgraded marquee entrance.

The finishing touches were recently done to the brick façade that proudly displays Guthrie High School. With the addition of shrubs and stones around the marquee, the entrance now stands out with Bluejay pride.

Along with the Class of 2016, Red Rock Landscape helped with the design while Buckley’s Sticks & Stones furnished the material.

“We are grateful to Buckley’s Sticks & Stones and the Class of 2016 for the donation of their time and resources,” GHS Principal Chris LeGrande said.

“The landscaping adds a special touch to the entrance of GHS and is something of which we are very proud.”
