Guthrie High School student Jason Salazar was announced as the grand prize winner for the Dr. Pepper/OKC Zoo art contest this year.
Salazar, who is a student in Lindsey Baker’s GHS classroom, will have his art work placed on the vending machine in the front entrance of the OKC zoo for the entire season.
H will also receive a $300 award and a big basket of art supplies.
Along with being recognized, Salazar will have his artwork revealed on the machine at the Zoo celebration on April 30 at 2 p.m.
