GHS students tour Channel 9 and observe noon broadcast

Guthrie High School journalism students got a close look at the inner workings of an Oklahoma City news station on Tuesday. Afterwards, they got to watch the noon broadcast.

Students in Rachel Strong’s class took a trip to KWTV (Channel 9) and toured the facility and learned how the news is produced from the studio.

The students stood behind the cameras and watched as newscaster Alex Cameron and meteorologist Lacey Swope deliver the noon news.
