Goat rescue 911; Guthrie firefighters to the unusual rescue

Firefighters must be ready to go at all times and prepared for a countless of unknown scenarios. One of those unusual scenarios occurred for two Guthrie firefighters during a training session in Oklahoma City.

Guthrie firefighters Justin McCaughey and Sam Kohler were participating in a paramedic training class at Eastern Oklahoma County Technology Center when the call came in.

The duo was called in to ….. rescue a goat.

When the two firefighters arrived to the Oklahoma City home they found a baby goat had wedge its head through a wired fence and was unable to free itself.

It did not take long for the goat to be freed and was quickly returned back to its habitat.
