The City of Guthrie and the YMCA renewed their operational agreement for the Guthrie Municipal Pool this summer.
“This partnership has been very successful allowing for the YMCA to manage the Guthrie Municipal Pool with the City providing maintenance and improvements,” a City spokesperson said.
The City will pay the YMCA an operating fee of $5,000 to operate the pool.
The YMCA will collect all revenue generated from the pool activities to help offset operational expenses.
The pool will be operational by May 22 for YMCA staff training and open to the public on May 27 through August 13.
The pool will again be available for rentals through August 27.
This year’s base operating fee in the contact includes the pool remaining open on Memorial Day and Independence Day.
