The Guthrie Chamber of Commerce will hold their annual Chamber Banquet. The event will take place on January 13 at the all-new Meridian Technology Center.
This year’s theme is “A Night At The Movies.” Attendees are encouraged to dress as their favorite movie character, or dress for the red carpet.
Along with the annual awards, a meal, drinks, a live auction and a table decoration contest will highlight the evening.
“We look forward to seeing you there as we celebrate our investors and the great year we have had,” Chamber CEO and President Brittany Timmons said.
The Chamber, once again, will recognize businesses and individuals that have made a significant impact on the community. Timmons said nominations are now open and businesses are encouraged to submit a nomination or a self-nomination. The categories, include Citizen of the Year, Small Business of the Year, Business of the Year, Non-Profit of the Year and Volunteer of the Year.
A table decorating contest will take place as you will get a chance to decorate your table as your favorite movie and win a prize.
“We encourage you to collaborate with other businesses and organizations and have fun with this,” Timmons said. “We have 20 table spots available so let us know if you plan to participate.
Guests will have a chance to win a wheelbarrow of booze. Tickets are $5 each or 5 for $20.
The evening begins at 6 p.m. and will be the first event held inside Meridian Technology Center (located at 3025 S. Division St.), which is expected to open in February.
Individual tickets are $75, or $500 for a table of eight. Click here to register.
