Guthrie Chamber of Commerce announces 2024 Banquet award winners

The Guthrie Chamber of Commerce recently recognized outstanding community members and businesses during its 2024 annual banquet, held earlier this month at Meridian Technology Center in Guthrie. This year’s event featured a fun and nostalgic 1980s theme.

Several individuals and organizations were honored for their contributions to the community.

Jill Price was named Ambassador of the Year, an award introduced by Heidi Mallow. Volunteer of the Year went to Frank Sanchez, with Carmen Walters presenting the honor. Linda Miller received the Citizen of the Year award, introduced by Kristal Flury.

CASA for Kids was recognized as Non-Profit of the Year, with Dana Hornbeck presenting the award. Small Business of the Year went to Dr. Dawn’s Chiropractics, introduced by Menecca Gibbs. The prestigious Business of the Year award, sponsored by Tim’s Body Worx, was presented by Freddie Lomax.

The Chamber’s annual banquet serves as a celebration of local businesses, volunteers, and community leaders who make Guthrie a thriving place to live and work.
