Guthrie Chamber’s Jessica Yearicks graduates from Chamber Management Institute

Jessica Yearicks, investor relations and operations coordinator for the Guthrie Chamber of Commerce, is among 19 graduates of the Oklahoma Chamber of Commerce Executives’ 2026 Chamber Management Institute.

The graduates were recognized Oct. 20 at the Marland Mansion in Ponca City during the organization’s Annual Conference and Awards Celebration.

Designed for chamber executive directors and staff, the annual program provides training in chamber management and nonprofit organizational leadership. Experienced chamber executives from across Oklahoma developed the curriculum to address the responsibilities of managing a chamber organization.

Participants attended three sessions, held one day per month over three consecutive months beginning in August. Presentations, shared experiences and practical information provided tools participants could apply within their chambers and communities.

“Chamber professionals play an important role in the economic vitality and quality of life of their communities,” said Cindy Morris, OCCE association manager.

Morris said the institute gives participants an opportunity to learn from experienced leaders, expand their professional knowledge and connect with peers who understand the opportunities and challenges of chamber work.

Yearicks’ completion of the program adds to her training in support of the Guthrie Chamber’s operations and its work with local businesses.

OCCE provides professional and leadership development for chamber executives, staff and board members throughout Oklahoma. Its programs offer training, resources and connections to help chamber professionals lead their organizations and serve their communities.
