Guthrie football head coach Kelly Beeby has announced the 16th annual BlueJay Football Youth Camp in May. The coach reminds parents sign their athlete as soon as possible for the two-day event.

The camp will be held on May 2 and 3 at the BlueJay practice field behind Guthrie High School. A third day (May 4) has been setup in case weather interrupts day one or two.

Beeby says the camp is to develop fundamentals.

“The objective is to provide young athletes the opportunity to develop fundamental skills in a supervised, intense, organized and enthusiastic atmosphere. Our coaches want to ensure the finest instruction we are capable of providing.”

Each camper who registers will receive drinks and the ever-popular camp T-shirt. Athletes can still attend following the April 21 deadline and can pay on the day of the event.
