Updated on Aug. 31 at 4:15 p.m. — Two additional gas stations were added to the list of stations that received three times the acceptable level of ethanol in gasoline. The two additional, include Valero at 2621 E. Highway 33 and Riverside located at 775 OK-74.
Officials said consumers who purchased fuel from Aug. 23 to Aug. 29 from one of the affected outlets to contact their mechanic or automobile dealer to resolve the issue, or to contact the retailer to pursue a potential claim.
Several affected gas stations have returned to normal operation.

A Guthrie convenience store was one of several stores around the Oklahoma City metropolitan that received three times the acceptable level of ethanol in gasoline, according to State regulators. The gasoline has been recalled.
The fuel from Magellan Midstream Partners was reported to the Oklahoma Corporation Commission on Tuesday as to having as much as 30 percent ethanol.
The problem came from an equipment failure at its Oklahoma City fuel distribution terminal.
AJ’s Minimart, located at Sooner Rd and Division St., made the initial list of retailers who received the fuel. The fuel was delivered on Aug. 23.
The fuel could damage lawn equipment, along with vehicle’s fuel pumps and other engine components.
Anyone who is experiencing a fuel-related issue with their vehicle should contact the gas station.
Fuel complaints regarding this or any other concern related to fuel measurement or quality can also be filed with the Oklahoma Corporation Commission at www.occeweb.com or 405-521-2211.
