The Guthrie Housing Authority wanted a way to show support for local non-profit organizations. The five member board generated $9,600 of donations toward five of those organizations.
On May 28, the GHA Board of Commissioners held a reception to present their gifts.
Accepting the gifts were Logan County Council on Aging ($6,600), Guthrie Softball Association ($750), Guthrie Little League Baseball Association ($750), Logan County Soccer Club ($750) and Guthrie Youth Football ($750).
The GHA Board wanted to show its support and gratitude for these organizations that have a substantial and direct impact on so many of the youth and elderly citizens of the Guthrie Community.

Members of the volunteer board, include Jim Reazer, President, Scott Wyskiel, Vice-President, Jonathan McClin, Laurel Davis and Marlena Osborne.
