Guthrie JROTC volunteers at food bank

Twenty-seven members of the ’89er Battalion volunteered at the Oklahoma Regional Food Bank on Saturday, December 9th. They helped sort, box, and palletize over 4,700 pounds of food for distribution to local food banks. This will help provide over 3,900 meals.

Food insecurity is a challenge in communities. The group also helps deliver food from our local food bank to our schools monthly.
