Guthrie picks up win in El Reno; collects eighth shut-out of the season

Senior pitcher Karrah Dean didn’t allow a single run in El Reno, throwing a complete game shutout and leading the Lady Jays to an 8-0 victory on Monday.

The Jays got things moving in the first inning, when Drew Dodgion doubled scoring one run.

The team tallied three runs in the first inning, two in the fourth and three in the seventh hitting the ball well throughout the entire game.

Dean started it with a home run, single and two RBI’s.

Strong at bats for both Eadie Jobe and Zoie Morrison executing a single and double with an RBI.

Jules Leach added two singles to the list and a RBI. Elaina Clark added a single and double. Taylor Bolding and Dodgion both hit doubles, while Trenda LeGrande had two base hits and Karlie Huffer drove in one to add to the list of RBI’s.

In the circle, Dean allowed three hits and zero runs over seven innings, striking out seven.
