  1. I would hope that the police didn’t release a picture of someone that was guilty of simple trespressing. While trespressing is against the law I think if police start using people’s pics for minor crimes then people will just start ignoring any pics that the police post. I would think it would be better served to only post the pics of someone that has committed a serious crime.

I’m a little mixed up. your saying a man steals 5.00 is less a thief than one who steals 1,000,000 ?

    Charles

  3. No I never said that. I think that if they put up every picture of every little thing that a person does it makes the public not pay as much attention to it. They see a picture and just figure it is for some minor offense and blow it off. The story above doesn’t mention what the offense is or for that matter if a crime had been committed it just mentions that a landowner has offered an award. I think people would take it more serious if they knew what the crime was. Is it someone sneaking on someone’s property to fish or did someone sneak onto someone’s property and cut their fence and steal from them?

  4. Looks as though he may have been fishing.

  5. Mr. Hayes,

As a matter of law, yes $5 is not equal to$1,000,000. One is a felony, the other a misdemeanor. However, as a Christian both are equally sin in God’s eyes. In this instance, we are discussing secular law.
