Guthrie Police to host 3-on-3 basketball tournament to benefit Christmas with Cops

Get ready to hit the courts for a good cause! The Guthrie Fraternal Order of Police (FOP) Lodge 105 has announced it will be hosting a 3-on-3 basketball tournament on Saturday, June 21, with all proceeds directly benefiting their annual “Christmas with Cops” program.

The event, set to take place at Guthrie High School, will tip off at 10 a.m.

For a participation fee of $10 per person, community members can form teams and compete in the 3-on-3 tournament. In addition to the main event, attendees can also test their shooting skills in separate 3-point and free throw contests.

To secure a spot in the tournament, teams are encouraged to pre-register by June 13. Registrations can be sent via email to [email protected], or contact the Guthrie Police Department at 405-282-3535.

Exciting prizes await the top performers. Ring trophies will be awarded to the teams finishing in the top three places in the 3-on-3 tournament. The champions of the 3-point and free throw contests will also receive first place ring trophies.

This event offers a fantastic opportunity for the community to come together for a day of fun, friendly competition, and to support a heartwarming cause that helps local children and families during the holiday season.
