Guthrie Public Schools recognized their support and certified employees of the month for the second time this school year at Monday’s Board of Education meeting.

Guthrie Upper Elementary School’s (GUES) Special Ed Teacher Laura Benhan nominated and presented Sandra Norton for the Support Employee of the Month. Norton serves as a GUES paraprofessional.
Jeff Ball, Asst. Principal at GUES , nominated and presented Kara Walters as the Certified Employee of the Month. Walters is also a special education teacher at GUES.
The Guthrie Lions Club donated a $25 Sonic gift card to each recipient.
