Guthrie Upper Elementary School hosting author on Tuesday

Kim Ventrella will be visiting Guthrie Upper Elementary School, Tuesday, October 30 to meet with all students. She inspires students to write stories about the world around them.

Ventrella is the author of the middle grade novels SKELETON TREE (released fall 2017) and BONE HOLLOW (releasing in spring 2019).

Her works explore the intersection between darkness, whimsy and wonder.

She has held a variety of interesting jobs, including the overnight staff person at a women’s shelter, a French instructor, a Peace Corps Volunteer and a children’s librarian, but her favorite job title is author.

The event is sponsored by the Vance Auto Group.
