Haynes headed back to the NFL’s PPK

Guthrie Junior High student Micayla Haynes is headed back to Dallas and give the NFL another shot.

Haynes will be inside Dallas Cowboys Stadium on November 6th to participate in the NFL Punt, Pass and Kick competition after advancing past the local and state events. Along with the PPK event, Haynes will take in the Dallas and Seattle game.

The NFL Punt, Pass and Kick program is a national skills competition for boys and girls between the ages of 6 and 15 to compete separately against their peers. Established in 1961, the PPK program is the oldest NFL Youth Football program. This year PPK will be celebrating its 50th Anniversary.

If Haynes were to win the November 6th event she would then compete at one of the NFL playoff games in January and will compete against the other 31 NFL teams winners.
