After scoring 61 points in back-to-back games, the Guthrie Lady Jays managed just 30 points in their first game of the Chickasha Basketball Classic.
Despite the low scoring out-put, the Lady Jays still had their opportunities against fellow 5A opponent Lawton MacArthur, but n the end the 12th ranked Highlanders snuck away with the 36-30 win.
Guthrie (4-3) will go for win number five of the season Friday afternoon, at 1:00, against John Marshall, who was demolished by Putnam City 67-18. John Marshall remains winless on the season.
In the four wins this season, the Lady Jays averaged 55 points, but in the three losses have averaged just 27 points.
