The City of Guthrie is accepting bids to pave one street and a road with the Street Capital Improvement Program.

The city will look to pave Hillcrest Drive from Walnut Street to Pine Street with a three-inch overlay. The project will be 2,581 feet long and 22 feet wide.

The other road project will be inside Mineral Wells Park with an upgrade to the road behind the Water Treatment Plant from Fairgrounds Road and looping around the edge of the two ponds.

The road will, in addition to, help with the new Community Garden that was approved by the city council.

Both projects will look to begin in the 2012 fiscal year.
