Two professional baseball hitting coordinators are coming to Guthrie in February to give some insight on hitting a baseball for ages 8 to 18.
Minnesota Twins Bill Springman and Baltimore Orioles Mike Boulanger will be in town on Feb. 9 and will join the Guthrie High School baseball coaching staff for the 13th Annual Hitting with the Pros and is conducted by the World Baseball Outreach. Both coaches are the hitting coordinators for their respective team.
The time is set for 9 a.m. at the hitting complex, located at the intersection of Grant and Ash, to noon and pre-registration is required by either phone, mail or online. Cost for the instruction is $55.
