It will be an early morning that several people will not forget after a female driver ran her vehicle into a Love’s convenience store while being distracted by her male passenger.
At around 4 a.m. on Thursday, the Guthrie Police Department responded to a call at the Love’s store, located at 2530 E. Noble, and found a vehicle had struck the store’s front side causing not only damage to the building on the outside, but on the inside as well.
Witnesses say the driver was found only partially dressed and was being preoccupied by her male passenger when she hit the accelerator and ran into the store.
While the vehicle did not enter the store, the impact of the crash sent merchandise inside the store off the shelves and into the floor.
There were no physical injuries reported at the scene.
